Mares Zips Athena Ziptez+ x BR Rain Dancer AHA #334843 *Witez II Preservation Mare - 31.3% Bay 4/26/1986 mare, 14 H 2003 NATRC National Champion Owned by Beth Seime The Soaring Eagles Ministry Simonton, Texas Athena is a big mare in a little package. She has her sire's trot and leaves all but a few horses behind. She started her first year of competition at the young age of 17 placing second in her first ride. She was injured later that spring. In her second year, 2003, she earned her NATRC National Championship. Little did we know when we donated her to Beth Seime's Soaring Eagles Ministry that Athena was pregnant! She had been pastured with Wyntez Buddy for two years. Her first and only foal, a colt named Miracle Twister, was born in September, 2006. All of us at Chiggerville Farm wish Athena and her baby a happy and rewarding life at their new home.  |
